I see the one while the other is asleep.
For number 2 go right around,
Then make a line across the ground.
This week we continued our beautiful number story. You may remember we started our story last week with the number 1. Everyone practiced careful listening and visualization as the story was told. When it was finished we brainstormed all the things from the story and in the world that we could think of that represent the number two. We also learned two poems about the number 2. Sun and moon, why do you never meet? I see the one while the other is asleep. For number 2 go right around, Then make a line across the ground. In our math journals, we each drew a yellow sun and a blue or grey moon to represent two. Then we practiced forming the number 2 with our writing pencils.
