Earlier this semester Grade 3 worked on creating sets, puppets, and scripts to retell The Three Little Pigs. Today they showed this work to our class. What a great opportunity for us to practice our listening and viewing skills. We have read lots of versions of The Three Little Pigs and Grade 3 exposed us to some more creative versions. Some of us also got to thinking about how we can make our own puppets and story sets!

We showed them what we have been experimenting with in connection to our unit of inquiry "Light is all around us and behaves in different ways". After Grade 3 left, Cailynne and Caileigh were able to explain to us what happens when light is blocked: This new knowledge has supported our developing theories about how shadows. Thanks Grade 3!
