This week we visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens for a field trip. There were lots of beautiful and exciting things to see but we were on the hunt for shadows and reflections!
We saw so many beautiful reflections of the plants, sky and even ourselves in the ponds and lakes. We also saw some shadows of ourselves on the pathways once the sun came out. This gave us a chance to think again about why we can see our shadows only when the sun is out.
This is a video of our trip that Libby's mum Jenni created -->
These are some photos of our visit:
We also wrote some thank you notes to our parent volunteers on the trip as part of our 'Notes of Gratitude' action as service project:
We are a group of Kindergarten 1 students at an IB World School in Singapore. Our teacher is Miss Alison. Follow us on our blog and Twitter to see how much we're learning and growing!
