This week we met up with our buddies in the Butterfly Garden. They helped us dig deeper into patterns by supporting us to draw the patterns in the book Pretty Patterns. They also showed us some of the work they did last semester about 'audience'. Finally, we shared some reading time - G5.2 worked on Reading to Someone and K1.2 worked on Listening to Reading.

This week we had our first meeting with our Grade 5 buddies. They visited our classroom and loved what they saw! They thought we had a very special class environment. We read together and created drawings based on the stories. We exchanged drawings as a symbolic of our new buddy relationships beginning. See you soon Grade 5.2! |
