As part of our current inquiry into 'Who I am' (one of our unit of inquiry lines of inquiry), we are beginning to explore our favourite things. We started by talking about our favourite colours and took some inspiration from the chameleon in A Color of His Own. In the story, many colour names are used to describe how the chameleon changes colour. After the story, we shared our feelings about our own favourite colours. |
- I like pink because it's light and I like light colours. (Kotaru)
- I like blue because it's very light and shiny.(Eddie)
- Purple because it's dark and it's nice and it's like the sky. (Charles)
- Blue because it's dark. (Jean-Louis)
- My favourite colour is blue because I like it and it's very dark and I like dark colours and that's why I made my room blue. (Rui)
- Blue because it's a nice colour. It's nice and light. (Gracie)
- Pink is nice. (Jumi)
- Yellow (Mayu)
