Before our trip, we reflected on what we had learned about road safety from our prior experiences, the book Look Out on the Road, and our class field trip to Paterson Road/Orchard Boulevard. We also read a new book called Jonathan Cleaned Up - Then He Heard a Sound by Robert Munsch. This book is an imaginary story about a subway train. It prompted us to think about our real experiences on the MRT in Singapore. |
- MRT is better because walking is so tired. (Jumi)
- Yeah you'll get too tired of walking. (Jay)
- Walking is better because you get to go to places that the MRT doesn't let you. (Gracie)
- The MRT is faster. (Ko, Eddie, Carlotta)
- Taxi is best because you can really rest because it goes a bit slow. MRT is too fast. MRT is better than walking though because it takes you very quickly. (Rui)
