Before leaving our classroom we thought of some questions for K2 students and completed a Harvard Project Zero Visible Thinking Routine called Compass Points. This thinking routine helped us to think about our needs, excitements, worries, and suggestions. Through the discussion, we realized that we had a lot of similar excitements and worries to each other. Mostly we were curious about what would be the same and different between Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2. |
Lately we've been talking a lot about the upcoming changes in our lives. We only have 6 days left in Kindergarten 1! Some of us will be moving to Kindergarten 2 at our school and some of us will be moving to different schools or countries. Today we visited a Kindergarten 2 class to do some learning and exploring about the changes we might expect. Thank you to Kindergarten 2.1 who helped to answer our questions and calm our worries. They also showed us some of their favourite areas, activities, and games in their classroom to help us understand the types of things that happen in K2. Thank you for your help K2.1! We are excited to move to Kindergarten 2!
