Last week we practised retelling the story Little Red Riding Hood with chalk. We have heard different versions of Little Red Riding Hood, mostly with the same characters and some small differences in details and events. As these different versions began to enter chalk representations, the children started to discuss what the differences were and what else they could add. This gave us the idea that we can create our own versions of stories! We have continued to explore this concept and many of us have been putting it into practice in our free play. |
