Recently we have been very interested in playing hopscotch during our free outdoor playtime. Today we used this activity as a way of practicing and extending our number knowledge. We made our own hopscotch tracks with partners and practiced writing numbers inside them. Some of us even challenged ourselves to write the numbers beyond 10!

On November 27, Thanksgiving was celebrated in the USA. This week, Grade 5 is hosting celebrations for our school. Today some students came to visit us to talk about what Thanksgiving means and ask what we are thankful for. This was a great opportunity for us to connect once again to our Kindergarten 1 Action as Service project 'Notes of Gratitude'. We shared what we are thankful for through drawings: Grade 5 is also hosting a clothing drive. Bring your gently used clothing items to school for them to be donated to The Salvation Army. Happy Thanksgiving!
